The Krakafat Story

A champion Gun-Skier in the 90’s competing in Australian state title circuit ski racing, the young boy to the right is the inspiration behind the Krakafat brand.

He represents where our love of old-school water skiing began. We all know this kid (or the kid at heart) who is always ready to ‘get on up’ no matter what the conditions.

Krakafat is the next generation.

No matter the watersport, the principle remains the same – ‘Stay up, don’t go down’. But if you do fall (and all of us do), get back up again and again. The upward shooting double arrows in our logo encompass that determined spirit, a reminder to never give up… but to get back up both on and off the water.
This theme continues being a key factor in our daily pursuit to bring you only the best watersport and outdoor adventure equipment and accessories.

In the world of watersports, the main idea is to stay ‘up’ and not go ‘down’. The Krakafat icon of the upward arrows encompasses and represents that word UP! The direction of the arrows is up, it is to rise to the occasion, stay on your feet to move forward. It is that no matter how many times you fall or fail, you must get ‘UP’ again, you must (in these words) ‘Krakafat’ & keep your head ‘UP’, no matter how hard things get as there is always room for growth.
